Po vojne, od roku 1948 u\u017e ako n\u00e1rodn\u00fd, podnik obnovil svoju v\u00fdrobu automobilov, priniesol nov\u00fa s\u00e9riu zn\u00e1mych mien: Octavia (1959) a Felicia (1959, kabriolet). V roku 1964 sa objavuje legend\u00e1rna Mb\u010dka, teda \u0160koda 1000 MB, na svoju dobu ve\u013emi modern\u00e9 a dostupn\u00e9 auto. Po roku 1976 prich\u00e1dza do v\u00fdroby s\u00e9ria &#8222;stoviek&#8220;, mnoh\u00e9 z nich e\u0161te st\u00e1le vidie\u0165 na ceste, s\u00fa symbolom 70. a 80. rokov a mnoh\u00ed na ne spom\u00ednaj\u00fa. Od 105 po 135 (1976-1990) sa modely S, L, LS, GLS stali p\u00fdchou \u010cSSR.\u00a0V automobiloch je bud\u00facnos\u0165\u0164a\u017ek\u00e9 \u010dasy ale skon\u010dili, v roku 1991 sa podnik op\u00e4\u0165 stal s\u00fakromn\u00fdm majetkom a od roku 2000 je s\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou koncernu Volkswagen. Neprest\u00e1va v\u0161ak pod tradi\u010dnou zna\u010dkou vyr\u00e1ba\u0165 origin\u00e1lne vozidl\u00e1, od skromnej\u0161\u00edch za\u010diatkov s prvou s\u00e9riou Felicia, Fabia a Octavia (1996-2010) a\u017e po Superb, Yeti a Karoq (2008-2018). Bud\u00facnos\u0165 druh\u00e9ho najstar\u0161ieho \u010deskoslovensk\u00e9ho podniku v\u017edy bola, je a bude v automobiloch.
